Malin and Tilde went out for some ice skating this afternoon at the outdoor rink in our neighborhood.

We have a pretty exciting sledding course in our neighborhood.  It starts in our front yard, goes down our driveway, across the street and into the park, past the apple tree and down to the other end of the park.  You even can catch some air over the bump as you head into the park!

Just getting ready to walk to school is a lot of work in the winter. The kids wear ski pants, sweaters, jackets, hats, scarves, and gloves.

Thrilling stuff.

The Untersehers came to Stockholm for New Years! We had a great time, and enjoyed a beautiful view of the fireworks from our living room on New Year’s Eve.

We’re getting some real winter weather now and the kids have been skiing around the neighborhood on their x-country skis. Looks like fun — I’m going to have to give it a try.
