Who says you can’t play golf in Sweden in late November?

The girls of class 3B had a blast at Fame Studios recording a couple of classics including “Mamma Mia” and “Party in the USA.”

A Friday tradition here is “fredagsmys” which means “Friday cozy.” The kids get to pick the dinner menu. After dinner, you curl up in the couch, watch TV and eat snacks. Mysigt!

We went to Thanksgiving at Martina’s house, which is a “kollektiv” (commune) where they just eat vegan. The food was great, and we met several of the current and past inhabitants of the commune. It happens to be the house that the movie “tillsammans” was based on (great movie by the way — it’s called “Together” in English).

In case you were wondering, in late autumn all the leaves fall off of the apple trees before the apples do, even the ripe ones. It looks almost fake.

We went to see a children’s opera at the library. The central atrium was amazing, like a giant beehive lines with books. The opera was about a boy named Eric who wanted to be a princess. It was very Swedish.
